HELP!! My nds couldn't detect R4..

Hi there, I need help on my nds.  I transferred some game files to a R4, but when I inserted the R4 into my nds, it said "There is no DS Card inserted".  In fact, the card is there.  Can anyone tell me what is wrong with the R4?  Please help!!  I would be appreciate it!  Thanks!
