面對遙不可及的樓價，八十後的年輕人各自謀算，有人為買樓苦惱，也有人樂於蝸居，不甘心做房奴。
二十九歲劉國勳，北區區議員，月入二萬多；一家四口自小住在三百多呎粉嶺公屋，現在仍跟妹妹上下格床，同睡一房；考慮購買居屋，但居屋也不便宜。
二十九歲Emily，高級網頁設計師，月入一萬八；跟兩位女伴，分租中環舊樓一個六百多呎單位，很想有自己的「家」，但夢想跟現實仍有一大段距離。
二十六歲阿賢，港大畢業，做社區發展工作，月入一萬三；在旺角月租四千一、面積一百多呎的「劏房」居住。住「劏房」覺得似過客，但阿賢又不甘心做房奴，一世人為了層樓打工。
