Hello,
I hope I am posting this at the correct location. I am 小楠's brother. I am not sure how much you know about her and her illness, but this is her request that I come here to write this post. She was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma two years ago. After multiple chemotherapy treatments, she had a relapse in January this year. This time we attempted stem cell transplantation but her body rejected the stem cells. During all this time she tried to live a normal life but exhaustion often took over, leaving her tired and weak. In mid May, she made her decision to refuse further treatment and returned to her residence. In her final days, she made a list of tasks for me to finish in case she couldn't gather enough strength to complete, and among them, she asked that I came here to write a post letting you know that she didn't mean to be a disappointment to everyone on here. She said she knew everyone was mad that she couldn't be around as much as she used to but she didn't want to burden people with unnecessary sadness. She was sorry that she lied about being busy with work when she was actually spending the time going through chemos and medical treatments.
Last Wednesday morning she had left us for a better place. This is a very hard time for the family and we are all trying to cope with this tragedy. With her charm, her liveliness, and cheerfulness. I am sure she will be well remembered and missed among friends.
